Advanced Rotorcraft Technology, Inc. (ART) designs, develops and markets proprietary fixed-wing and helicopter simulation productivity tools and low-cost, high fidelity, reconfigurable COTS flight simulators for engineering and pilot training applications. ART simulator products are currently in use by the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as major commercial defense companies, aircraft manufacturers and flight simulator companies.
ART has produced the COTS software tool called FLIGHTLAB, the state of the art modeling, analysis and real-time simulation development tool, used world-wide to simulate virtually any flight, or multi-body dynamic system through the use of an easy to master Graphical User Interface.
With the use of FLIGHTLAB, ART's product line has grown to include a library of "off-the-shelf" simulation models of numerous aircraft. These realistic flight models are used extensively to support engineering design and analysis applications and they provide unsurpassed fidelity for training applications. ART models and simulators can be certifiable to FAA Level D standards.
In support of our wide range of consulting activities, ART performs state of the art research on many topics including coupling of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computational Structural Dynamics (CSD), shipboard helicopter modeling and simulation, helicopter sling load modeling and simulation, ducted fan modeling, advanced rotorcraft aerodynamics, and simulation validation technology.
