 ART has produced Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) software to support simulation modeling and analysis. The FLIGHTLAB Development System provides comprehensive modeling and analysis of flight vehicles, using a library of modeling components that can be instanced, interconnected, and assigned aircraft specific parameter values to produce a wide range of dynamic system architectures. ART has used FLIGHTLAB to produce flight dynamics models for a variety of aircraft and provides these models as COTS products. PilotStation provides a run-time infrastructure for processing the flight dynamics model in real time and interfacing it to simulator systems and software applications. In addition, ART provides HeliFlight-R, a turnkey reconfigurable simulator that includes a dome visual, control loaders, reconfigurable instrument displays and flight models, and an optional motion platform. HeliFlight-R is designed to provide a cost-effective piloted simulation capability with high fidelity flight dynamics cueing to support FLIGHTLAB users in performing real-time pilot-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop evaluation. It can also be used for training applications and can be certified to FAA Level 5 Flight Training Device standards.
